Every year, nearly one million custom design heels, heel tips, platforms, wedges, and chunky soles leave our Italcompo facility in Casorezzo, just outside Milan, destined for top luxury and high-fashion brands.

Our 3D design department is the technological heart of the company: a combination of specialized know-how and cutting-edge tools enables us to turn even the most complex ideas into concrete drafts, ready for prototyping.

“3D printers are used when the shapes are particularly intricate,” Carlo explains, “while for simpler ones we use machining centers to mill various materials and create tailor-made prototypes for our custom design heels.”

The 3D design of custom heels requires specialized skills and a high level of responsiveness. Sample delivery times are often tight, but thanks to years of expertise and ongoing investments in software and technology, Italcompo is able to meet even the most demanding deadlines—while ensuring top quality and complete customer satisfaction.

From stiletto heels to sculptural designs, wedges, and bold, creative shapes, we place no limits on the imagination of designers and fashion houses. Every silhouette is developed to measure, with careful attention to both aesthetics and functionality, always considering the real-world use of each component.

For the production of our custom design heels, wedges, and platforms, we use GRS-certified materials featuring recycled components, along with bio-based solutions derived from renewable biological resources.
